1.how did you get into the music game?
My first encounter was Kapatid. I met Nathan and Karl in a club in Malate called VERVE room. Bands and musicians would get together on tuesdays to jam and exchange stories. Kapatid was formed there. Babalik ng Kwago was our first single, rest was history. / 2nd year college I was handed a demo from Kelley and Marc, I was digging the funk rock sound and started jamming with them. In our first jam was Dailiri among other number one singles, rest was history and golden days. 5 albums under labels all in all and everything a big boy can dream of...rest is history and smiles!!!!

1 The legendary bassist and producer in Asia and my life / music mentor. my father - Rudy Bai

3.what is soulfillet?
Soul Fillet is an event / movement that aims at gathering all djs. beatmakers. emcees. graphic heads. musicians. music fans in the umbrella of HIP HOP. SOUL. ELECTRO via 4 segments: Djs/ Beatmakers' Lounge / Performance / Freestyle Cypher. So far we have been quite successful in doing that. But we need everyone to open their minds, stay tuned on facebook with your invites and take time to drop by the party to witnesse this. 4.tell us about the album your launching
This album is two years in the making since the last album of Kjwan. This is my sole effort in producing and collabing with artists I really respect and know on a personal level around hip hop and the soul spheres. I grew up with jazz and now i can't wait but to focus on the jazzy and soulful side of things. This is a album of 15 beats that has gone through the phases in my life for the past two years and as a result i met a lot of interesting people. This album will be in MANILA, HONG KONG, and KUALA LUMPUR. GET READY TO SLURP THAT NOODLES.
I initially wanted to call it SOUL NOODLES. I figure NOODLES is a little more slick. Noodles is def my favorite grub too. So I hope everyone in the Philippines who have been showing me love for the past 5 years or so, can show me equal support in the upcoming NOODLES.
